TikTok: drafts you post yourself

Avitoholius sends your approved videos to your own TikTok account as drafts. You open them in TikTok, edit them and decide whether to post. Avitoholius never posts publicly on TikTok.

Who connects. The TikTok accounts connected to Avitoholius belong to the businesses that work with us. Each business authorises Avitoholius on TikTok’s consent screen, receives drafts in its own TikTok inbox and alone decides what is posted. Avitoholius cannot post to these accounts.

How it works

  1. Connect with TikTok Login KitWhen you start working with us, the Avitoholius app opens TikTok’s own consent screen (Settings → Connections → “Connect TikTok”). The screen shows Avitoholius and the requested permissions, and the account holder approves them on TikTok’s page. Avitoholius never stores your TikTok password — only the access TikTok issues.
  2. The connected account is shownWith user.info.basic we read your open_id, display name and avatar — only to show which TikTok account is connected.
  3. A person approves the videoNothing is sent to TikTok until the video is approved.
  4. The video is sent as a draftWith video.upload (Content Posting API, upload mode) the approved video is uploaded to your TikTok inbox. Direct Post is not used.
  5. You finish it in TikTokOpen TikTok → Inbox → System notifications and tap “Your content from Avitoholius is ready”. TikTok may take a few minutes to process the video. It opens in TikTok’s editor: edit it, add your caption and choose who can see it. You decide whether to post it.
Send to TikTok as a draft

What Avitoholius does not do on TikTok

  • It does not post publicly or choose who can see your videos.
  • It does not read your followers, comments, messages or analytics.
  • It does not access any account other than the one you connected.
  • It does not add Avitoholius branding, logos or watermarks to your videos. Any logo or text in a video is your business’s own.

Your data

We store the access and refresh tokens, your open_id, display name and avatar while the account is connected, and the publish_id and status of each upload. We do not share TikTok data with any third party. Full details are in section 11 of our Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting

In the TikTok app go to Profile → ☰ → Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → App and service permissions → Avitoholius → Remove access (menu names can differ slightly between app versions), or write to contact@avitoholius.com. Within 7 days we delete the TikTok tokens and all TikTok data we hold. See Data deletion.
